ALISON BRADLEY, Director and Co-Founder of Floral Fundamentals, Scotland
Head Judge
Alison Bradley is the Director and Co-Founder of Floral Fundamentals, and the Director and Editor-in-Chief of the former Fusion Flowers magazine. She has won several awards for her creative floral designs, including the Best in Show and Gold Awards, and Most Innovative Designer. Aside from being an outstanding designer, Alison has lectured worldwide and demonstrated floral design concepts, and been featured as a BBC Expert on Floral Design, as well as on a BBC documentary about her garden and her work. Alison was a judge for Floral Windows to the World at SGF in 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, 2018 and the recent Championship in 2024.
HARIJANTO SETIAWAN, International Master Florist, Singapore
Judge
Harijanto Setiawan, originally trained as an architect, found his true calling in floristry, earning acclaim for his artistic vision in the realm of floral-scape. He attained the title of International Master Florist from Boerma Institute Flower School in Holland in 2023 and serves as a distinguished floral ambassador for Floral Fundamentals UK. Notably, Harijanto stands as the inaugural floral designer in Singapore to receive the Designer of the Year award from the President of Singapore. In addition, he recently served as a tutor in the Interflora World Cup 2023 held in Manchester, UK. Harijanto has authored three influential floral books and has left an indelible mark on the floristry world through countless workshops, seminars, and commercial projects. Harijanto was a judge for Floral Windows to the World at SGF in 2016, 2018 and the recent Championship in 2024.
TORU KAWAI, Chairman of the Tokyo Flower Design Research Association, Japan
Judge
Toru Kawai is a pioneering master flower coordinator who has revolutionised floral design by artfully blending Western techniques with Japanese aesthetic elements. His remarkable journey in floral artistry has been marked by numerous prestigious achievements, including victories at multiple Japan Florist Association conventions and the JFTD Grand Champion Tournament in 2003. His talent gained international acclaim when he represented Japan at the 8th WAFA World Congress in Yokohama (2005) and the German IPM (2006), later winning the WAFA World Championships in Boston (2010).
His exceptional craftsmanship earned him recognition as a "Contemporary Master Craftsman" in 2008 and the distinguished Yellow Ribbon Medal in 2015, culminating in the NFD Honorary Award Ikeda Koji Award in 2020. As Chairman of the Tokyo Flower Design Research Association and head of the Kawai Floral Academy, he continues to shape the next generation of floral designers while pushing the boundaries of contemporary floral artistry.
PETRA KONRAD, Master Designer and CEO of FlowerArt Academy, Germany

Petra Konrad is a German Master Florist Designer and travels globally to share her expertise, where she taught at various schools including the International Floral Design Education Foundation in Taiwan, Dream Flower Academy in South Korea and the Officina delle Piante Flower Academy in Italy.
BART HASSAM, International Floral Designer and 2019 Floral World Cup Champion, Australia
Technical Judge
Bart Hassam is a veteran in the floral design industry and has been awarded the Australian Interflora Florist of the Year and the Queensland Interflora Florist of the Year five times. He believes in creating beauty through the plant material, with elegance, appropriateness and a respect for the flowers. Most recently, Bart was selected in 2018 to represent Australia at the 2019 Florists’ Transworld Delivery (FTD) World Cup of Floral Design and became the FTD World Cup Champion at the Philadelphia Flower Show in 2019.
MAX VAN DE SLUIS, Flower Designer of Life 2, Netherlands
Technical Judge
Max van de Sluis is a Dutch Master Florist who first nurtured his passion in floral design through making bouquets using leftover flowers from his father’s nursery and his mother’s flower shop. He has a wealth of experience gained from participating in both national and international competitions. Max won a Silver medal for his participation in Floral Windows to the World at SGF in 2010 and a Bronze medal for the same competition at SGF in 2012.
