Community Garden Edibles Competition

CGEC 2026: A Decade of Growing Excellence!

Launched in 2015, the Community Garden Edibles Competition (CGEC) 2026 recognises the abilities of our local gardeners and showcases their excellent harvests, including uncommon and unique edibles.

Participants, be it an individual or together as a gardening group, can choose from 10 diverse 'Best Edibles' categories plus an Open Category to send in their harvest(s), showcasing the remarkable varieties of fruits and vegetables that can flourish in our urban environment.

Registration is open from 12 January 2026 to 13 May 2026.
